Jack Hylton

Erstmals 1928 gastiert der Amerikaner Jack Hylton 1928 in Berlin. Nach 1930 spielt sein Tanz- und Unterhaltungsorchester mit starkem (echten) Jazz-Einfluss.

Seine Konzerte sind Ereignisse. Hylton ist ein echter Star! Den größten Teil von Jack Hyltons Einspielungen findet man auf dem britischen Plattenetikett His Master's Voice (HMV), einige auch auf Polydor.

Bis zu seinem Tod Anfang 1965 betreibt Hylton eine Konzertagentur in London.
