Jim Lauderdales erstes Album, einst verloren in der Zeit, wird nun endlich erhältlich. Im Sommer 1979 unternahm Jim Lauderdale von North Carolina aus eine Pilgerreise nach Nashville mit zwei Zielen: mit Roland White und George Jones zu arbeiten und sich mit ihnen anzufreunden, und einen Abdruck in der Welt der Bluegrass und Country Musik zu hinterlassen.

Während Lauderdale es als Glück bezeichnet, war es wohl mehr das Schicksal, das ihn und White zusammenbrachte. The result is a Freundschaft war – natural – in a Bluegrass Album, das unter Mitwirkung einer ganzen Armada von talentierten Musikern im Keller von Earl und Louise Scruggs Haus entstand. Trotz allem fanden sie für the Album keinen Vertrag and so wurde es nie veröffentlicht.

Now you'll find Roland Whites Frau and Rough Mix in one album. And so there is a new chance for the einstige Duo Jim Lauderdale and Roland White.
