Benjamin Herman is one of the best and best-known saxophonists in the Netherlands and has been active on the jazz scene for many years, not only with the New Cool Collective but also solo. Pianist Piet Kuiters began playing music at a young age. His playing technique, inspired by Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk, caught the attention of famous musicians and he became a sought-after bebop pianist on the international jazz scene. After living and touring in the USA for several years, Piet Kuiters returned to the Dutch jazz front and founded a new quartet. Together with Benjamin Herman, Hans Ruigrok and Ben Schroder, these four top musicians have recorded this great album "Roll 'm High". Recommended.
