The return of the Queen of Sacred Soul, Elizabeth King releases her new album I Got A Love on Bible & Tire. Elizabeth King recorded her first single in 1970, and if everything had gone according to plan, she would have made her first album a few years later.

Instead, it took another half-century for King to release her album Living In The Last Days in 2021, which captured King at the height of her powers, with the intervening decades seemingly serving only to fan the flames of one of modern gospel's most memorable voices. Bible and Tire's 2019 The D-Vine Spirituals Recordings, the first in the label's ongoing reissue series focusing on the D-Vine Spirituals Records catalog, included a handful of King's early singles, beginning with her biggest hit, the infectious 1972 I Heard The Voice, which in more ways than one also served as the inspiration for Living In The Last Days.

In 1973, King won the Gospel Gold Cup, a prestigious award given by the city's gospel disc jockeys, including D-Vine founder Juan D. Shipp.
