Following the success of 2004's “You Can't Save Everbody”, two of the finest singer-songwriters have once again teamed up with a seasoned multi-instrumentalist. And although the songs are just as strong as the first time around, this album by Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch and Fats Kaplin seems to have a distinctly “live” feel. From the opening notes of “Monkey Jump” and the beautiful, infectious title track, Kane and Welch play their way through the eleven tracks with a healthy mix of blues, folk, roots, boogie, country and more blues.
