The legendary musician, songwriter and producer Booker T. Jones will release his new album "Note By Note" on 01.11.2019. At the same time his book "Time is Tight" is released. For this release Booker T. Jones has re-recorded some of his most important songs. He not only plays piano and Hammond B3 on the album, but also sings.

As guests he is accompanied by his band Matt Berninger (The National), Ty Taylor (Vintage Trouble) and his son, the songwriter and guitarist Teddy Jones. Joshua Ledet, Ayanna Irish, DeAndre Brackensick, Sharlotte Gibson and Stax Academy graduate Evvie McKinney support him vocally. "Note By Note" is an emotional musical journey that largely reflects the chapters of the memoirs. The album culminates in two new original songs ("Paralyzed" and "Maybe I Need Saving"), which were co-written with Teddy Jones. The band on the album includes Steve Ferrone (Average White Band, Tom Petty) on drums, long-time band member Melvin Brannon on bass and Teddy Jones on guitar.
