Jim and Jennie split their time between sparse ballads and rollicking, banjo-driven stompers, both of which are played with bravura - a fantastic and authentic bluegrass album, as you could wish for from a group of young, modern musicians.
Traditional songs and cover versions of bluegrass classics are included, but the band's own compositions, written by Jim Krewson and Jennie Benford, show that they have done their homework.
