For his electrifying 21st studio album CHASING THE SUN, acclaimed singer-songwriter and master guitarist Colin James has assembled an impressive list of musical guests - Americana icon Lucinda Williams, harmonica ace Charlie Musselwhite and legendary producer and guitarist Colin Linden, to name but three - to present seven blistering blues rock originals and four scintillating covers.

Co-written with longtime pal Tom Wilson (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings) and the MacDonald Brothers (The Trews), the new album showcases James as powerful as ever and his repertoire that has earned him eight JUNO Awards, 31 Maple Blues Awards and induction into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.

Colin James' career spans 35 years and includes 20 studio albums and multi-platinum record sales. His 2021 release, Open Road, won the JUNO Award for Best Blues Album and was nominated for Best Blues Rock Album by the Blues Foundation in 2023.
