The Holloway Echoes Carry On Echoing (LP, 10inch)

The Holloway Echoes – Carry On Echoing is a 10-inch LP on Western Star Records, presenting the band’s characteristic blend of rock ’n’ roll and rockabilly with strong 1950s and 1960s influences. The release includes All Asses Must Be Shown, Brylcreem, The Thing From Rockabilly Hell, Last Of The Very Few, Cox’s Creepers, Travelodge Tears, The 3rd Earl Of Harrow and 50s Fred (The Monoped Ted). The Holloway Echoes focus on distinctly British subjects, drawing on memories of their collective childhood in the 1960s. Morris Minors, Teddy Boys, Great Train Robbers and Carry On films all form part of the world surrounding these songs, alongside the group’s 50s-inspired musical influences.
