This Houston band consists of four aggressively traditional-minded musicians who combine musical backgrounds from country honky-tonk to rock to blues in true Texas style. The songs on this second CD, which is their debut for Hightone Records, are mostly original compositions and range from honky-tonk shuffles, swamp pop and a murder ballad to a good dose of Texas roots rock. Produced by well-known Austin guitarist Casper Rawls of the Leroi Brothers.
