Brendan Hogan: Long Night Coming (CD)

10 tracks

FOMO for lovers of authentic Americana, folk, country and blues! Long Night Coming is singer-songwriter Brendan Hogan’s debut album, released in 2009. The ten-song collection combines contemporary folk and country songwriting with strong blues and roots influences. Hogan is known for his introspective approach, direct storytelling and distinctive acoustic style. Alongside eight original compositions, the album also includes two familiar standards. Songs such as Nothing Belongs to Me, Big Black Car and Looking Up At Down Again reveal the album’s range, moving between quiet, reflective passages and more energetic blues-influenced performances. FOMO: An interesting CD for collectors and listeners looking to discover handcrafted American roots songwriting away from the mainstream.
