Born on January 5, 1970 in Bedford, England, Darrel is considered one of the most talented and original artists the British rock and roll scene has produced in many years.

With his twelve solo albums, he is now gaining critical acclaim in the roots music scene and winning the support of a much wider audience - outside the confines of rock 'n' roll - with his ability to mix country, rockabilly, '60s pop and blues.

He has also contributed to more than 50 albums and worked for other artists in other musical roles such as session guitarist, producer, songwriter or arranger.

As a session guitarist, he has worked with a number of American and British rock and roll and rockabilly legends, from the 1950s to the present, including: Billy Lee Riley, Glen Glenn, Sonny Burgess, Vernon Taylor, Linda Gail Lewis, Johnny Carroll, Screamin' Lord Sutch, Shakin' Stevens, and Wee Willie Harris.
