Formed in Lincoln in 1992, rockabilly band The Hicksville Bombers have been a scene favorite since their debut vinyl single on Raucous and a relentless touring schedule. Since then they have released six albums and performed across the UK, traveled Europe and played gigs in the US. “Bombs Away” contains 16 tracks, with an emphasis on original material - a considerable achievement in a scene that relies heavily on cover versions from the 1950s. The Bombers can boast that their own songs are at least as popular as the covers they perform at venues and festivals around the world.
