In 1966 he scored a world hit with the self-written song ''Sunny'', of which 2,000 published versions exist today. Of the songs Hebb recorded at Bell Sound Studios in New York for Philips with producer Jerry Ross on February 21, 1966, ''Sunny'' was the last to be recorded. Only because there was still studio time left and the song Hebb was close to the heart, the recording was made at all. Ross hired exclusive studio musicians for the sessions, including guitarists Vinnie Bell and Eric Gale. 

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of "Sunny" Trocadero released the original album of the same name as a remastered new edition. Booklet inlay included!
