The Virginia-based acoustic band combines the sound of bluegrass and folk with the unpredictable energy and attitude of rock 'n' roll.

After a young miller dies in an accident, his friends turn to the Hackensaw Boys, the miller's favorite band: “Please come and play for us and help us dry our tears.” The band comes over for a week, lives in a windmill in Kinderdijk and gives concerts.

New friendships are formed. Tears turn into smiles. The week is captured in sound and pictures.
