Peter Green: The Best Of Peter Green Splinter Group (2-LP)
Peter Green is considered one of the finest guitarists of his generation. His virtuoso blues playing was integral to the sound of the original Fleetwood Mac, which he formed in 1967, and his almost suffering-sounding lead guitar put him on a par with legends such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
. Green left the band in the early 70s and spent much of the next three decades in the wilderness, battling a series of health problems. He resurfaced in the late 90s and performed with the Peter Green Splinter Group.

Peter Green
Peter Green is a British blues rock singer-songwriter who started his career as lead-guitarist with John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. He influenced guitarists like Gary Moore and Jimmy Page, is “Top-50 best guitarists ever” and B.B. King commented about him; “He has the sweetest tone I ever heard”. He was a founder of Fleetwood Mac and a member from 1967–70 and composer of big hits like “The Green Manalishi”, “Albatros”, “Oh Well” and “Black Magic Woman” to name a few. ‘Little Dreamer’ was the second album after a nine-year gap and was almost completely written by his older brother Mike Greenbaum. The album includes Peter Green’s version of “Born Under A Bad Sign”.
