Danny Gatton is one of the tragic guitar heroes of rock 'n' roll of all time. One of the greatest guitarists of the eighties guitarists of the eighties and undoubtedly one of the most versatile and versatile guitarists of all time! He committed suicide in 1994 without achieving the fame his talent could have brought him.

Most of the tracks here are originals, the exceptions being a John Martyn cover, Charlie Patton's Funky Mama, he Simpsons Theme and a heartbreaking cover of In My Room by the Beach Boys.

Other notable beauties include Blues Newburg, a fine blues named for its hometown, a really great Quiet Village, and even some humor with the Simpsons theme. 88 Elmira Street would appeal to all fans of and especially rockabilly and Brian Setzer.
