Ute Freudenberg is currently celebrating her stage anniversary and is making a big promise to her fans with her new CD, namely that she will be on stage for a long time to come: I haven't had enough for a long time yet! She could easily be trusted to do so, because the singer from Weimar has already survived quite different times. Once the figurehead of the GDR pop carousel, she is just as popular today as Hallorenkugeln and Rotkäppchen sparkling wine. Just like these, Ute Freudenberg reminds her mostly East German fans of times when the private pop heaven at home in front of the color TV set still seemed to be in order with the show "Ein Kessel Buntes". A seven-minute hit medley on this CD contains the greatest hits of that time, including ""Jugendliebe"" from 1978, which still causes storms of enthusiasm at concerts today.
