Esther Fellner is a sensitive and expressive interpreter of the great song writers, from Charles Aznavour to Leonard Cohen and Georges Moustaki to Mikis Theodorakis. She sings in French and Italian, her feeling for song composition is impressive, and her eight accompanists also know how to perform it effectively. The expressive singer, who adapts to every mood, unquestionably dominates the scene. The acoustic arrangements of violin, cello, piano, accordion, double bass and drums provide a perfect background. There is not much missing to the live experience.
