If there's one artist who captures the essence of bluegrass as it once was, it's Dave Evans. Deeply rooted in the tradition, but highly individualistic, Evans has always gone his own way, leaving behind some excellent and memorable music.
Includes some bluegrass classics ('Our Last Goodbye', 'Cora is Gone'), some powerful, mossy old songs that he does so well ('Little Willie', 'East Virginia Blues'), a couple of originals, including the wonderful 'Should I Go, Should I Stay', and in this case two tracks by Tom T. & Dixie Hall, including the memorable title track, which has gone down in history as an Evans classic of the later years.
