The sound is harder and more powerful than the authentic rockabilly/desperate rock 'n' roll style of its predecessor, with power guitar rockabilly (think Reverend Horton Heat) and rootsy bluesabilly (The Paladins) influences mixed in with 1950s basics.
Most of the songs on this album were written by the band themselves, but there are also a few cover songs that you will instantly recognize.
