The young songwriter from the Canadian prairies, Saskatchewan to be precise, impresses with his rough baritone and accompanies himself with expressively played folk & bluegrass guitar or banjo pickings and a bass drum that he plays with the back heel of his shoe. His role models are Hank Williams, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt and The Band, and William Elliot Whitmore could also have been the inspiration here. His first EP "Imaginary Appalachian" was released in 2015.

He leaves his live audience speechlessly impressed by his mature voice and fitting songwriting. His debut album was produced by Dave Cobb and contains his own songs as well as "Snake Mountain Blues" by Townes Van Zandt)
