Peter De Fretes was a very special Hawaiian-Indonesian musician. He became famous with his Peter de Fretes Trio and with this album "Flowers Of Paradise". He also appeared as a special guest in concerts with The Black Dynamites and Andy Tielman. Peter was the younger brother of the world famous George De Fretes and Arie De Fretes (father of artist Roy De Fretes). After living in Indonesia for many years, he moved and traveled to other countries such as Hawaii, Austria, Germany and America. In 1979 he settled in the Netherlands. This album is a unique document of one of the greatest Hawaiian music artists in the world.
