This extensive 6-CD box set offers the ultimate retrospective of Canadian country legend Dick Damron, often referred to as the “Willie Nelson of Canada.” A member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, Damron’s career spans more than six decades, blending rockabilly, honky tonk, outlaw country, and heartfelt ballads.

The first three discs (More Than Countryfied) cover Damron’s formative years from 1959 to 1976, beginning with his rockabilly debut single Gonna Have A Party, followed by early Nashville recordings, and culminating in his outlaw era of the 1970s. This portion includes many rare tracks reissued on CD for the first time, such as the 1867–1967: Canadian Souvenir Album, produced during Canada’s centennial celebration. Featured are original versions of his best-known songs including Hitch Hikin’, Mother Love And Country, The Long Green Line, and the classic Countryfied – later a hit for George Hamilton IV.

The second half (Lost In The Music) presents Damron’s RCA years from 1978 to 1989 – his most commercially successful period. Produced by Joe Bob Barnhill, these recordings strike a perfect balance between traditional hard country and more melodic songwriting. Tracks like The Ballad Of T.J.'s, Mid-Nite Flytes, If London Were A Lady, Honky Tonk Angels And Good Ol’ Boys, The Masquerade, and The Lady showcase the full range of Damron’s talent.

This long-overdue set of 86 tracks captures the legacy of one of Canada’s most respected and decorated country artists.
