Recorded on September 19, 2013 at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this live album shows that soul never fades. From the first note the First Lady of Outlaw Country strikes on her grand piano to the last bombastic chord of her electric band, Jessi Colter shines and brims with charm and charisma, not to mention some very personal moments. This is the first and only live record Jessi Colter has recorded, and such a rare treat wouldn't be complete without its own twists and turns. Jessi is joined on a couple of tracks by her son, Shooter. With such a humble performance, one is truly lucky to have been there.

geb. 25. 5. 1947 in Phoenix - Arizona Record Labels: Jamies, RCA, Capitol Erster No. 1 Hit: I'm Not Lisa (1975) Miriam Johnson, genannt Jessi Colter, spielte im Alter von 11 Jahren in einer Kirche das Piano, heiratete mit 16 den Gitarristen Duane Eddy, ging mit ihm auf Tour nach Deutschland und Südafrika, traf irgendwann mit Waylon Jennings zusammen,ließ sich von Eddy scheiden und heiratete Jennings. Als Komponistin schrieb sie Songs für Don Gibson, Anita Carter, Marion Worth, Dottie West und viele andere. Als Sängerin ist sie so ein bisschen eine Eintagsfliege geblieben. über ihren Ehemann Waylon Jennings fand sie Eingang in die Outlaw Szene der 70er Jahre, doch blieb sie stets, auch in Duett-Aufnahmen zusammen mit Jennings, zweitklassig.
