Don Cole is mostly known to Rock and Roll collectors because of his 'Snake Eyed Mama' but did you know that he was a fantastic guitar player as well? He was a protégé of Al Casey and strongly influenced by Duane Eddy! Cole was a member of The Rio Rockers known for their tough 'Mexicali Baby', he played the guitar on Ritchie Hart's 'The Great Duane', he played the calliope-sounding riff on Ray Sharpe's 'Linda Lu' and tons more! Turn on your volume and listen and learn about the great Don Cole who died at the age of 35, and belive me, he was much more than his great 'Snake Eyed Mama'!
