This CD brings together 26 tracks from GIGLIOLA CINQUETTI's career in the sixties and seventies, with original versions in French and Italian. The CD contains 10 tracks previously unreleased on CD, including "La bohème" by Charles Aznavour, "Ne me quitte pas" by Jacques Brel, "L'âme des poètes" by Charles Trénet and, for the first time, the original Italian version of her greatest hit, "La pioggia" (L'orage). This is the most beautiful song journey of this brilliant Italian artist, recorded between 1964 (first performance of "Non oh l'eta" (I belong to you)), "Le bateau mouche", written by Joe Dassin in 1972, and "La primavera", written by Didier Barbelivien in 1976, and never before released on CD. All the original covers are reproduced in the booklet and the songs on this CD have been completely remastered.
