The sixth album from the once again reshuffled Stan Webb formation is one of their best. Webb has left the hard rock ambitions of his predecessor behind him, instead concentrating on his core competence: the blues. Sometimes R&B-heavy with Chris Mercer's saxophone, sometimes soulful with a small string section, but always concentrated and remarkably economical. Webb is usually missing when the great guitarists of the Golden Era are listed somewhere; this is one of the albums on which you can hear very clearly that he absolutely belongs! (1973/2022)

1967 in Birmingham gegründete englische Bluesgruppe, die im Laufe der Jahre [immer härter wurde und heute fast ausschließlich Rock spielt. Boss der Gruppe ist Gitarrist Stan Webb (geboren 3.2. 1946 in Betinal Green - London). Auf dem Höhepunkt der Karriere war die Gruppe um 1969 - 1970 mit Sängerin Christine Perfect (geboren 12. 7.1945 in Olverston). Ihr Nachfolger in der Gruppe wurde Paul Raymond (geboren 16.11.1945 in St.Albans). 1970 geriet die Gruppe in eine Krise und 1971 stellte Stan Webb eine neue Besetzung vor, die jedoch auch nicht lange zusammenblieb. Anfang 1974 trennte sich die Gruppe, kommt aber gelegentlich noch für Tourneen, vor allem in Deutschland, zusammen. Mitspieler sind Schlagzeuger Al Powell (geboren 19.8.1947 in Manchester), Pianist Dave Wilkey (geboren 28.7.1950 in Leyland) und Bassist Rob Hull (geboren 2. 3.1949 in Durham).
