Who was/is Callahan Brothers ? - CDs, Vinyl LPs, DVD and more

The Callahan Brothers was one of many brother duet acts that flourished in the 1930s. Consisting of Walter 'Joe' (1910-1971) and Homer 'Bill' (1912-2002), the brothers grew up in North Carolina, listening to hillbilly records by Ernest Stoneman, Riley Puckett, and Jimmie Rodgers. They developed a bluesy repertoire that was similar to that of the Delmore Brothers and were also adept at yodeling in harmony. T.B. Blues No. 2 was recorded at one of their early sessions for ARC, in August 1934. Most 'No. 2' songs were either sequels or answer songs, but the lyrics to this song were based on Rodgers' original version of the song.
