Together with her band, Sera Cahoone pulls out all the stops of a rural American sound and acts more than liberated with pedal steel, piano, banjo, drums, bass and so on. A return to Americana in its timeless variations and characterized by the typical trademarks and instruments, but of course also by Sera's voice. Rhythmic sensibility characterizes the album as well as the longing for the mountains and love, enriched with hope and a look in the rear-view mirror at the good old country, but also the will to look at the old times from a more universal perspective.
