Wade Bowen The Version Of Me You Get (LP)

Wade Bowen’s The Version Of Me You Get is a country album about personal experience, change and the perspective that comes with looking back on life. The songs were written and recorded in 2020 with his longtime musical collaborator Sean McConnell. After several years away from the project, Bowen returned to the recordings and found that the songs had gained new depth through the experiences that followed. The album explores love, difficult periods in life, vulnerability and the possibility of seeing things differently over time. Its ten tracks are Rain, Burned In The Fire, People Like Us, Weight On The Levee, Turpentine, Better Left Alone, One More Last Time, The Garden, Hard World and The Version Of Me You Get. Released on Bowen Sounds as an LP, the record combines personal songwriting with contemporary country and Americana influences.
