After two albums and an EP — recorded at SUN Studio in Memphis — The Bluesanovas take the next step and join the CrossCut Records roster for their new studio LP!
The multi-award winning young band from Münster, Westphalia, has been winning over enthusiastic live audiences and critics alike for several years with their authentic, retro-style electric blues and original songs.
Eric Clapton enlisted The Bluesanovas as support for his 2022 Germany tour!
During an off-day in Munich, the recordings for this 25cm LP with enclosed CD (containing two bonus tracks) were made at Moonshine Studio, which is packed with vintage equipment.
Additionally, the LP comes with a booklet containing liner notes and the song lyrics along with an autograph card.
Carefully mastered by Tom Meyer at Master & Servant in Hamburg and pressed at Optimal.

The Bluesanovas - at the very least since Eric Clapton invited the five guys from Münster as his support act on his 2022 German tour - are the epitome of young blues made in Germany.
In the years before, the Westphalian quintet had already earned the status of an absolute live insider tip and convinced fans and critics alike with their inspiring retro style!
The winners of the 'German Blues Challenge' (2019), multiple 'German Blues Awards' winners (2020/2021) and semi-finalists of the 'International Blues Challenge - IBC' (2020) in Memphis, Tennessee, hosted by the Blues Foundation, take the next step after two albums and an EP - recorded at SUN Studio in Memphis - and launch the new studio LP in cooperation with CrossCut Records!
The recordings for the vinyl/CD combination were made during only one off day while touring with Clapton at Moonshine Studio near Munich, crammed with vintage equipment. The idea was to musically preserve the impressions of the German tour and to chronicle the vast contrast with stadium concerts in front of 20,000 spectators in an intimate and personal atmosphere. The Moonshine, with studio equipment from the 1950s, provided the perfect setting for the five young guys' retro blues. They aim to give their fans and listeners the feeling of being right there in the center of these studio sessions.
The Bluesanovas themselves aptly describe their style as "music that immediately goes from ear to leg."
