DoorWay is a gospel album, but with a difference:

the different moods of the struggles are reflected in his arrangements, from swinging mid-tempo bluegrass to a darker, more melancholic sound – an almost rock song with drums, electric piano and effects-laden electric guitar.

It's clear that this is not an album for die-hard bluegrass purists. Highly recommended.
