A showcase for the bluesman behind the rock and roll star On The Blues Side includes 1955's Wee Wee Hours, Down The Road Apiece, The Things That I Used To Do, Willie Dixon's I Just Want To Make Love To You (both later covered by The Rolling Stones), Driftin' Blues and Merry Christmas Baby (both from the Charles Brown/Johnny Moore school that so influenced Chuck) and two previously unissued performances - I Still Got The Blues and I Just Want To Make Love To You.
