Die muss man haben

Eine Freundin hat die CD hier bei Bear Family gekauft. Wir hörten uns die Scheibe vor kurzem miteinander an und ich fand sie MEGA. Eigentlich wollte ich mir die CD meiner Freundin auf den PC "ziehen" aber dann dachte ich mir, so eine geile Combo muss man einfach unterstützen und hab mir auch ein Exemplar bestellt. Echt coole Musik, hört sie Euch an!

I LOVE it!

My Bear Family CD finally arrived yesterday — and I’m over the moon! I saw this band live in London back in 1995 and somehow lost track of them… then out of nowhere, Dee Dee and the Bel Airs popped up as a recommendation, and I had to have it immediately! Since yesterday, it’s been on almost non-stop and I’ve been dancing like crazy.... Can’t wait for my boyfriend to come over this weekend so we can totally rock out together!

Der HAMMER ****

Ein Freund hat mich auf Dee Dee and the Bel Airs vor einer Woche aufmerksam gemacht. Dann habe ich immer wieder hier bei Bear Family unter diesem Namen gesucht und mir wurden dann immer Alben vorgeschlagen mit der Surfband The Bel Airs.
Erst als ich von meinem Freund den Titel der CD genannt bekam und diesen hier eingab ( Moonshine Recording Sessein Part one ) wurde mir die CD angezeigt! BITTE ändert das SCHNELL

Zur CD,
mein Freund hatte schon echt stark geschwärmt, aber das macht er gern einmal... Als ich endlich die CD in den Händen hatte und meinen Player damit fütterte, ging es direkt VOLL AB!
Ich finde alles sehr gelungen. Die Auswahl der Titel, wie die Stücke arangiert sind, die Instrumentierung UND vor allem der Sound. Also wenn die Band das live aufgenommen hat ( der eine oder andere Overdub wird wohl schon eingeflossen sein ) ist das sehr beeindruckend. Es klingt alles druckvoll und man hört alles sehr gut im Mix, und doch ist eine sehr gute Portion "oldschool Sound" dabei ohne zu dünn oder angestaubt zu klingen. Ich kann nur sagen hört es Euch an.
Einziger "Kritikpunkt" ( für meinen Geschmack ), ich hätte gern etwas mehr Gitarrensoli gehört, denn Dee Dee hat einen schönen Ton und verliert Sich auch nicht in zu vielen technischen Ge-nudel auf dem Griffbrett.

Wundervolle CD

Ich bin in den Achzigern und Neunziger Jahren mit Rock'n'roll und Rockabilly groß geworden. Wenn man so wie ich damals viel auf Konzerten und Festivals unterwegs war ( Ich gab fast mein gesammtes Taschengeld dafür aus ), der kam an Dee Dee and the Bel Airs nicht vorbei!
Die Combo aus Bayern war auf den Bühnen aller angesagten Festivals und das zurecht. Ich hab sie dann etwas aus den Augen verloren und nun gibt es von Ihnen eine neue CD.....
Ich kannte Sie noch als reine Rockabilly Band, die später auch gern und gut Doo Wop Nummern brachte. Diese CD ist aber anders und das auf eine fantastische Weise. Ich bin begeistert und hoffe die Band bald live mal wieder zu sehen!

Großartige CD

Hab die CD seit drei Tagen und sie läuft gerade zu jeder freien Minute.
Mein Freund, der eher auf die härtere Rockabilly Gangart wie z.B. John Lindberg Trio, findet die Scheibe auch richtig gut!

Wow, what a hot one!
I can't believe such music comes from Germany!
You can hear it slightly in the singer's accent, but it doesn't detract from the overall quality.
