Audreys 'Till My Tears Roll Away (LP)

The Audreys return to their blues, folk and roots foundations on ’Til My Tears Roll Away, while adding a noticeably stronger rock edge to their sound. Released in 2014, the Australian band’s fourth studio album was recorded in Adelaide and contains twelve tracks. The program includes My Darlin’ Girl, Baby, Are You There, Keep Your Company, Ballad For The Fallen, Roll Away, Comfort Me, Bring The Stars Out, Lady Luck, Come On Back To Bed, Why Must I Wait, I Can’t Sleep and Love Has A Way Of Unravelling. Taasha Coates provides vocals and guitar, with Tristan Goodall on guitar. The album moves between country-rock, blues and folk influences, more powerful rock-oriented songs, and quieter ballad moments. FOMO for collectors of blues, roots, folk and Americana: if this Audreys album is still missing from your collection, it deserves your attention.
