geb. 11.5. 1914 im Hardin County - Kentucky Record Labels: Okeh, Vocalion, Conqueror, Columbia, Harmony, Capitol, Kapp Der Sänger Robert Owen Atcher, genannt Bob, bediente sich recht erfolgreich des Cowboy-Images. Seine größten Erfolge hatte er jedoch nicht als Schallplattenstar, sondern bei seinen Auftritten bei Radio-und Fernsehstationen. Als es mit dem Show-Business nicht mehr so recht klappen wollte, zog er sich nach Schaumburg - Illinois zurück, wo er einige Zeit als Direktor der Schaumburg State Bank tätig war.
