Englische Teenbeatgruppe, entdeckt und produziert von Mickie Most, dem Manager von Suzi Quatro. Gegründet im August 1973, hatte mit „A touch to much' ersten Hit. Stellte sich in Deutschland erstmals 1974 als Vorgruppe von Suzi Quatro vor. Sologitarrist Jake Hooker, (geboren 3. 5. 1952 in New York) und Bassist Alan Merrill (geboren 19.2.1951 in New York) lernten sich in New York auf der Schule kennen, gingen über Japan nach Europa und trafen in London den englischen Schlagzeuger Paul Varley (geboren 24. 5.1952 in Preston).
