Pete Anderson & The Archives – Live! is a remarkable live rock'n'roll album recorded in 1989 and released by Melodiya. Pete Anderson and The Archives perform a selection of classic American rock'n'roll standards, all sung in English. The recording was made live at the Riga Polytechnic Institute and was issued by Melodiya as an LP at the end of 1989. The first side features Twenty Flight Rock, Maybellene, Mambo Rock, Happy Baby, On The Road Again, Rip It Up and Shake, Rattle And Roll. The second side continues with Rockin' Chair On The Moon, Blue Suede Shoes, Lonesome Train, Hot Dog Buddy Buddy, Cryin' Time, Rock Around The Clock and Rockabilly Boogie. The album captures the direct atmosphere of a live performance while presenting some of the best-known standards of classic rock'n'roll.
