Viel zu früh, im Alter von 27 Jahren, kam die Sängerin Alexandra Doris Nefedov durch einen tragischen Autounfall ums Leben. Es war am 31.8.1969, auf der Fahrt in den Urlaub, als sie in der Nähe der holsteinischen 'Stadt Heide tödlich verunglückte. Geboren wurde Alexandra am 19. 5.1942 in Heydekrug (Memelland).

1944 flüchteten ihre Eltern mit ihr in die Bundesrepublik. sie wuchs in Kiel und Hamburg auf, arbeitete als Zeichnerin, um sich das Geld für ein Schauspiel- und Gesangsstudium zu verdienen. Ihre erste Rolle bekam Alexandra am Theater von Neumünster, als Sängerin engagierte sie Hazy Osterwald für eine Russlandtournee.

1968 hatte sie den ersten Hitparadenerfolg mit „Zigeunerjunge'. „Sehnsucht“ wurde ihr erfolgreichstes Lied und kurz vor ihrem plötzlichen Tod kam Alexandra mit „Erstes Morgenrot' in die Hitparaden. Gemeinsam mit Udo Jürgens komponierte sie das Lied „Illusionen', das er 1975 neu aufnahm. Alexandra selbst wurde zu einer Legende - ihre traurige, schwermütige und dunkle Stimme und die einfühlsamen Texte bleiben aber unvergessen. LP: „Ihre großen Erfolge' '
