Woking-born singer and actor Mark Wynter has had an extraordinary career spanning over 50 years on stage and screen. In the early 1960s, he was also one of Pye Records' biggest stars with four top 20 hits, including “Venus In Blue Jeans” and “Go Away Little Girl”. He had a total of nine hits between 1960 and 1964.

Mark is still active, both as a singer and stage actor, and was instrumental in this new 3-CD anthology of his recordings from the 60s and early 70s, the most comprehensive to date, featuring all his pop titles for Decca, Pye and subsequent labels.

Many of these titles appear on CD for the first time, others were long out of print. The package also includes many rarities from Mark's own archive, including his very first demo recording from 1959, “I Go Ape”, and seven other previously unreleased tracks.

Other highlights include tracks from various TV specials from different eras, both sides of a rare single from 1969 entitled “Where Is She” and “Good Money” and three tracks from Mark's cast recording for Aladdin.

Mark also contributed many rare photos for the accompanying color booklet and was interviewed for the extensive sleeve notes.
