Wylie ist ein echter Cowboy, der in einer Ranchfamilie der 4. Generation auf der leeren Ausbreitung des nördlichen Montana geboren wurde. Er ist der Richtige und, wie ein Musikschriftsteller witzelte: "Die ganze alte Schule, ohne ein müdes Stück aus der Zeit zu sein."
