The great Kim Wilde hits collection
The career of Kim Wilde, whose real name is Kimberly Smith, began in 1980. The British pop singer was signed to RAK Records and released her first single "Kids in America" in January 1981. The song, composed and written by her father, rock'n'roll singer Marty Wilde, and her brother Ricky, becomes an international top five hit. From then on, the success story takes its course.

To date, Kim Wilde has released 13 studio albums, had 30 hits in the British charts and sold over 30 million records worldwide.

Reasons enough to take a look back at her musical career. In 2021, the new Kim Wilde hits collection "Pop Don't Stop - Greatest Hits" will be released as a double CD and as a special Deluxe Expanded Edition with five CDs and two DVDs.

Both formats contain radio edits and 7ʺ-single versions of many hits, including "Kids In America", "You Came", "You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Love Is Holy" and "Kandy Krush". As a special highlight, there are also two brand new tracks: "Shine On" is a duet with Boy George. Kim and her brother Ricky wrote the song with Swedish songwriter Fredrik Thomander in Italy. "You're My Karma" is another duet with British singer-songwriter Tom Aspaul.

The Deluxe Expanded Edition also gathers more singles, B-sides, four of which are available on CD for the first time, and a selection of remixes. The collector's box is rounded off by a deluxe booklet with song lyrics and a DVD collection with almost 50 tracks, interviews and a look-back-at-the-videos with Kim Wilde.
