Lenny Welch – Rocket To The Moon

Lenny Welch is not only famous for his 1963 hit Since I Fell For You. His method of success was to turn crooners and jazz standards into light soul ballads: Ebb Tide, A Taste Of Honey, Since I Fell For You, and Rags To Riches are excellent examples. That Welch could also rock and roll is proven with his first B-side, Rocket To The Moon, released on Decca 9-30637 in June 1958.
