Inspired by conversations with his 13-year-old daughter Jolee Kate about strong female artists, singers and songwriters, Aaron Watson is proud to release COVER GIRL. COVER GIRL's eleven genre-bending cover songs range from Dolly Parton and Rosanne Cash to the Pretenders and Lady Gaga, with songs by Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow and Taylor Swift thrown in for good measure. In addition to Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer, each song features an up-and-coming female singer/artist that Aaron knows and respects or has performed with.
