"Country music of cosmic scope, with West Coast attitude, but still connected to the rust of Texas honkey-tonks" - Saving Country Music The Tender Things are the new project from Heartless Bastards bassist Jesse Ebaugh. Ebaugh's love of '70s and '80s country rock, that of The Flying Burrito Brothers, Merle Haggard and Dwight Yoakam led him to form The Tender Things when he left heartless Bastards in 2016.
"That Texas Touch" is the band's second album, full of the kind of funky country gems that played on AM radio and filled Texas dance halls in the '70s.
