Five years after their second album “69 Automobile” (2019), Supersonics are back with a great new album. “Bird On A Wire” contains 14 brand new original tracks written by lead singer / lead guitarist PJ Snijders. It's in the same style you've come to expect from the band. A great mix of rockabilly, blues, country and rock 'n' roll, all arranged in their own unique style and sound.
Especially for this album Haico Comans played pedal steel guitar on 3 tracks. In addition, guitarist Jeroen has played the appropriate keyboard instruments on several tracks (piano, Hammond organ, Hohner piano) to give certain songs a special touch. It's a thrilling ride from melodic rock'n'roll to swampy blues, stomping rockabilly to swinging country styles and some great atmospheric storytelling.
