The Suedes

Another track that was sold to Daily by Bill Hall, Don't Be Shy and its flip were written, as was Red Hot Rhythm Combo, by Silsbee's Richard Harold (Ester). Again, it's unclear whether Harold (or brother Sidney) had anything to do with the Suedes, but they do sound like a tight working group rather than a thrown together studio one, and Don't Be Shy is a far more satisfying rocker than Red Hot Rhythm Combo. At any rate, this is, sadly, the only known release by the Suedes, who, if they were a working band, were presumably a Beaumont/Gulf Coast-area group.
