The group took a different approach to traditional Irish folk than their contemporaries, wanting to bring folk into modern pop music through accessible, chart-ready arrangements, which their pop-idol looks helped them achieve. When they were signed to Larry Page's Page One label in 1968, their only album was produced by hitmaking team Bill Martin and Phil Coulter.
