Frontiers Music is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Neal Schon's Journey Through Time, a live concert recorded on February 9, 2018 at The Independent in San Francisco, California.

This is the show where Neal Schon, founding member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee band Journey, debuted Journey Through Time alongside two-time Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee and former Journey and Santana bandmate Gregg Rolie. Playing alongside Schon and Rolie were current Journey member Deen Castronovo on vocals and drums, Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake) on bass and John Varn on keyboards and vocals. Performing to a sold-out crowd as part of a benefit show to raise money for victims of the fires that ravaged the North Bay in the San Francisco area in October 2017, the band played songs from across Journey's catalog, focusing on the band's repertoire from the 1970s, including the band's first three albums, "Journey," "Look Into The Future" and "Next."

A multiple Grammy nominee, Schon founded Journey in 1972 and remains the band's only constant member, having participated in every album and tour. Prior to forming Journey, Schon was also a member of Santana and has performed with a variety of other bands, including Bad English, Hardline and HSAS, as well as with Jan Hammer and Paul Rodgers (Bad Company, Free). During his career he has also released 10 solo albums, with his guitar style described as soulful and melodic and admired by other legends such as Eric Clapton and Prince. Journey has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making it one of the best-selling bands of all time. Chart-topping hits like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Open Arms," "Lights," "Faithfully" and "When You Love A Woman" are considered some of the most important songs in the rock and roll canon.
